“Medicine, law, business, engineering, these are noble pursuits and necessary to sustain life. But poetry, beauty, romance, love, these are what we stay alive for.” — Dead Poets Society,  1989

This semester, I take a journey through arts, which gives me so many unforgettable memories. Among all the performances, some are exciting, some are inspiring, some are peaceful, while some are sorrowful. As the journey now coming to an end, let us look back at all the performances and feel the beauty of arts again.

One thing I like about this class is that there are so many talented students of various backgrounds in our class and each of them can give a point about the performance that I’ve never thought about. I really enjoy the feeling of refreshing my mind by accepting different views from others.

Moreover, during the journey with FAA110, I start to understand the beauty and greatness of arts, and how meaningful it is to human life. Like the sentence that I quote from Dead Poets Society, medicine, law, business, engineering are noble pursuits and necessary to sustain life. But beauty, romance, love, art these are what we stay alive for. As an engineering student, I really appreciate my journey with FAA110, and I will always keep those unforgettable memories happened on my journey in mind.
