This is the first time I’ve had the privilege to learn from someone with such high art qualification so closely. Renee Baker has great experience from her career in Chicago Orchestra. After her retirement from there, instead of stepping back and relax, her dreams and inspirations have been supporting her to chase and achieve something bigger and something altruistic.
It’s interesting that Renee even gave an improvisation over the class about composing. Particularly, after explaining some common misunderstanding about composing, she taught us how the abstract notes can be transformed into art.
