A unique and contemporary play for modern theater

The beautiful set design

This week’s performance was The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, a play based on Mark Haddon’s novel and directed by one of our own professors, Dr. Latrelle Bright.

The lead, Christopher Boone, is a 15-year-old math wizard who we follow as he discovers himself, the truth about his mother, and the mystery behind the murder of the neighbor’s dog. As someone with Autism Spectrum Disorder, he has a different perspective on the world.

Overall I very much enjoyed the performance. The story was very unique and was very well executed by the cast and crew. The set design particularly captured my attention. In addition, all of the nuances and transitions in the performance were great. I very much enjoyed this play and the way it was presented.
