From camera fundamentals to fika fundamentals

The first assignment was daunting. It was so cold outside the past few days, I resorted to taking pictures in my apartment. I think that worked out in my favor, though. It allowed me to stay warm while I figure out how to use my camera. Being able to sit and fiddle with the camera really helped.

I didn’t feel completely comfortable with my camera until I had coffee with a friend. She let me shoot some video of her, and it helped pull my project together with a common theme: having a fika. A fika is a Swedish tradition, usually involving coffee and treats.

It felt a bit stressful putting everything together on Final Cut Pro, but I’m pleasantly surprised with how my project turned out. Now, I feel more confident for the next assignment.
