Though students might be getting to class more quickly on their bikes, others on foot are raising concern over the lack of attention pedestrians receive on campus. A 2012 report by th eNational Highway Traffic Safety Administration showed that cycling deaths in the United States rose 8.7%  from 2010 to 2011.

I liked your topic – definitely a relevant news topic right now because i think bicyclists are careless with the rules and I know the police are out handing out tickets to bicyclists who are breaking the tiniest laws(i know this because I got a ticket myself for a first time offense of riding on a one way) – perhaps the UIPD or Urbana/Champaign PD would have been a good additional source to interview about this topic.

I would also recommend toggling off auto focus on these cameras. Playing with the circular motion towards the front end of the camera basically helps you get in focus and I found it super intuitive and easy to pick up once I made the switch myself. it will help with the shots constantly going in and out of focus and will only take you maybe 5 seconds at most longer to set the focus so its a great step up for little time and effort.

Also I thought your lower thirds were really cool- especially with the slight animation that wasn’t too distracting.
